  • • In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and modernizing our reporting infrastructure, ensuring that our users have access to reliable, understandable, and actionable data.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for all administrative aspects of the reporting platform, tackling critical areas such as architectural integrity, granular permission management, and resolving complex reporting issues to ensure seamless user experience.
  • • Your analytical prowess will be key in examining current reporting usage patterns. By deeply understanding how our data is consumed, you will identify significant opportunities for optimization, streamlining processes, and performing necessary cleanup to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • • A core responsibility will be to champion transparency throughout the organization. This involves clearly defining and communicating data sources, standardizing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definitions, and establishing clear ownership for all reports, fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
  • • You will actively contribute to and support our ongoing documentation and data governance initiatives. This is crucial for improving the long-term maintainability of our reporting assets and bolstering the overall trust and reliability of the data our business relies upon.

You will actively participate in evaluating, testing, and potentially implementing alternative, cutting-edge analytics and visualization solutions that will define Statista's reporting capabilities for years to come.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve enhancing the consistency and usability of our reports. This will be achieved by establishing and promoting shared standards, developing reusable templates, and embedding best practices across all reporting development.
  • • You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of reports and dashboards. This includes designing intuitive and insightful visualizations, developing robust data models, and deploying these solutions, all powered by our sophisticated Data Warehouse.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, BI, or analytics engineering.
  • • Hands-on experience with Power BI or comparable BI tools.
  • • Solid SQL skills, understanding of data modeling concepts, and experience working with a data warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift).
  • • A structured, quality-focused mindset with a genuine interest in standards and data governance topics.
