• • As the Associate Director, Enterprise Applications (STP) at Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd., you will be at the forefront of driving digital transformation within our critical Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology ecosystem. This pivotal role is responsible for the strategic leadership, solution design, and successful delivery of our S2P technology landscape, which is anchored by Coupa and integrated with our SAP ERP system, along with associated integration layers. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless alignment across Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain operations, thereby optimizing our technology investments and fostering a culture of innovation through automation and data-driven insights.
• • You will serve as the primary IT solution lead for Coupa, SAP modules (specifically MM/FI CO), and all other related procurement and finance systems. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to partnering with key stakeholders in Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to champion process optimization, ensure robust compliance, and drive significant cost efficiencies throughout the organization. A core aspect of your role will be to advocate for and implement best practices in digital sourcing, advanced procurement analytics, effective supplier collaboration, and streamlined contract management, ultimately enhancing the company's competitive edge.
• • In terms of Application and Integration Management, you will be accountable for the comprehensive system configuration, ongoing enhancements, and critical support for all Coupa modules, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Supplier Management, and Invoicing. A significant part of your responsibility will involve expertly managing the complex integrations between Coupa, our SAP ERP system, Workday, banking platforms, and various third-party applications, leveraging middleware solutions to ensure data integrity and flow. You will also lead critical initiatives such as system upgrades, rigorous testing cycles, and meticulous change control processes across both the Coupa and SAP landscapes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum system performance.
• • Driving Operational Excellence is paramount. You will ensure strict adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory mandates, including SOX and GDPR. A key focus will be on maintaining high data quality and implementing robust master data governance strategies across supplier, contract, and spend domains. Furthermore, you will manage our Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and other vendor resources, ensuring they meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deliver tangible value to the organization. This oversight is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our S2P systems.
• • Your role extends to Team and Stakeholder Leadership. You will lead and mentor a team of developers and functional consultants, guiding them through complex projects and providing essential support. You will act as a trusted advisor to Procurement and Finance leaders, offering strategic guidance on digital transformation opportunities and helping them navigate the evolving technological landscape. Collaboration with IT peers across ERP, HR, and analytics functions will be essential to deliver truly integrated enterprise solutions that support Sumitomo Pharma's broader business objectives.
