In this vital position within the IT Service Delivery team, you will be instrumental in supporting end-users across all business units, enabling them to achieve their daily objectives by maintaining robust and reliable technology infrastructure. - • As an IT Specialist I, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical IT support functions. You will be the first point of contact for end-users, actively diagnosing and responding to support tickets, incoming calls, emails, and walk-up requests, ensuring timely resolution and effective follow-up. A significant part of your role will involve new user equipment and account setup, including meticulous deployment and license management, ensuring new team members are equipped and ready to contribute from day one. You will also be responsible for training end-users on the effective use of both hardware and software, empowering them to leverage technology to its fullest potential. This support extends to both in-person assistance and remote workers, requiring adaptability and strong communication skills to bridge geographical distances.
- • Your technical expertise will be applied to supporting a variety of Microsoft products, including Windows, Office, Office365, and other cloud-based applications, as well as various vendor-specific applications as needed. You will also be tasked with configuring and supporting iPhone and iPad devices, ensuring mobile technology integrates smoothly with our IT ecosystem. Furthermore, you will provide essential audio/video conference support for presentations and meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organization. A key aspect of your role will be managing the inventory of all hardware and software assets, maintaining accurate records for efficient tracking and lifecycle management. This includes performing hardware and software system configuration, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure our systems are up-to-date and performing optimally. You will also play a role in evaluating existing IT products and processes, recommending changes and improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
