- • Provide compassionate, high-quality mental health care to diverse populations across New York State through Brave Health’s telehealth platform, directly addressing critical gaps in access for Medicaid and underserved communities by delivering evidence-based outpatient therapy services remotely.
- • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via secure video platforms, utilizing clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders across the lifespan, while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and documentation standards in a fully remote environment.
- • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing progress monitoring and client feedback.
- • Utilize Brave Health’s integrated telehealth software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and internal communication tools to manage caseloads, schedule appointments, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
- • Participate in weekly clinical supervision, team case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities supported by an annual education stipend, fostering growth in cultural humility, bilingual therapeutic techniques, and emerging telehealth best practices.
- • Contribute to Brave Health’s mission of health equity by advocating for patients navigating systemic barriers to care, particularly Spanish-speaking individuals and those reliant on Medicaid/Medicare, while helping reduce stigma and increase engagement in mental health services across diverse communities.
- • Collaborate with a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team of clinicians, psychiatrists, and care coordinators who share a commitment to expanding access to mental health care through innovation, compassion, and technology-driven solutions.
- • Build clinical expertise in telehealth delivery, strengthen bilingual therapeutic skills, and gain experience in value-based care models while making a measurable impact on patient outcomes and community well-being in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- • Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency required) to effectively conduct therapy sessions, assessments, and documentation with Spanish-speaking clients.
- • Demonstrated experience providing outpatient mental health or substance use disorder therapy, including proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
- • Ability to maintain a private, secure, and HIPAA-compliant home workspace conducive to confidential telehealth sessions.
- • Comfort with and proficiency in using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, electronic health records (EHR), and internal communication systems for daily clinical operations.
- • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship; Brave Health does not support visa sponsorship for this role.
