  • • As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D) at Brave Health PA, you will play a vital role in expanding access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care for underserved populations, particularly those relying on Medicaid and Medicare, by delivering evidence-based outpatient therapy through a secure telehealth platform from your home office.
  • • Your work directly supports Brave Health’s mission to eliminate barriers to mental health treatment by providing culturally competent, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) care to clients across the lifespan, ensuring no one is left behind due to language, insurance, or geographic constraints.
  • • You will conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing standardized assessment tools to diagnose mental health and substance use disorders, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor client progress toward measurable goals.
  • • Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, participating in case consultations, coordinating care with other providers when needed, and engaging in ongoing professional development supported by an annual education stipend.
  • • You will leverage secure telehealth software, video conferencing platforms, and internal communication tools to deliver seamless virtual care while ensuring patient privacy and safety in your designated home workspace.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, coupled with active LMHC-D licensure in New York State, including diagnostic privileges.
  • • Fluency in English and Spanish, with demonstrated ability to conduct clinical sessions, assessments, and documentation in both languages to serve bilingual clients effectively.
  • • Proven experience in mental health or substance abuse diagnosis, treatment planning, and utilizing comprehensive assessments to guide therapeutic interventions.
  • • Proficiency with telehealth platforms, video communication tools, and electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with a private, secure home workspace that meets HIPAA standards for confidentiality.
  • • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship for visa status.
