- • Serve as the first point of contact for patients across Frontier Dermatology’s 35 clinics in Oregon and Washington, delivering warm, efficient check-in and check-out experiences that set the tone for world-class dermatological care.
- • Own the complete patient journey—from scheduling appointments and verifying insurance eligibility to collecting copayments and updating electronic health records—ensuring every detail is accurate and every interaction reflects our reputation for excellence.
- • Partner closely with board-certified dermatologists, Mohs surgeons, and advanced practice providers to prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and anticipate clinical needs so providers can focus entirely on diagnosis and treatment.
- • Perform clinical support tasks such as measuring vital signs, documenting chief complaints, photographing lesions, and assisting with biopsies and minor surgical procedures while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and infection-control protocols.
- • Navigate our cloud-based EHR and practice-management systems in real time, entering data with precision, flagging prior-authorization requirements, and generating lab or pathology requisitions without disrupting clinic flow.
- • Act as a liaison between patients, pharmacies, and insurance carriers, resolving prior-authorization denials, clarifying prescription instructions, and scheduling follow-up visits to ensure continuity of care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- • Champion patient education by explaining pre- and post-procedure care, distributing printed aftercare instructions, and demonstrating how to apply topical medications or dressings—empowering patients to take an active role in their skin health.
- • Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies, samples, and retail skincare products across multiple locations, placing timely orders and rotating stock to minimize waste and guarantee that providers always have what they need.
- • Participate in daily huddles and monthly quality-improvement meetings, sharing workflow insights, suggesting process enhancements, and celebrating team achievements that elevate the patient experience and drive Frontier Dermatology’s mission forward.
- • Embrace a flexible, hybrid-remote model: work on-site in any of our 35 clinics when hands-on support is needed, then transition seamlessly to remote tasks such as insurance verification, patient portal messaging, and telehealth coordination from the comfort of your home office.
- • Contribute to Frontier Dermatology’s culture of continuous learning by completing annual competency assessments, attending lunch-and-learn sessions on new dermatologic therapies, and cross-training in front-desk, clinical, and administrative functions to expand your career horizons.
