- • Your work will directly contribute to closing the gap in mental health care access by providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and psychotherapy to adults with general mental health needs and/or severe mental illness (SMI), all while operating within a mission-driven, community health-centered organization committed to equity and innovation.

- • You will perform comprehensive mental and physical health assessments, diagnose psychiatric and substance use disorders (including dual diagnoses), distinguish between physiological and psychological etiologies, and order appropriate diagnostic tests such as labs or EKGs when clinically indicated.
- • You will maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), adhering to HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, state regulations, and national standards of care, while consulting with Clinical or Medical Directors as needed for complex cases.
- • You will verbally deescalate crisis situations when necessary, work effectively with diverse and sometimes challenging patient populations, and adapt your approach to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey.
- • You will engage in continuous learning through an annual education stipend and close collaboration with peers and supervisors, refining your clinical judgment in telehealth delivery, motivational interviewing, and addiction treatment within a supportive, innovative environment.
