- • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and solutions architect for Reddit’s strategic advertising partners and direct advertisers, guiding end-to-end integration of Reddit’s advertising APIs and tools.
- • Design and prototype proof-of-concept solutions to accelerate technical enablement, with implementations occurring within Reddit’s systems or directly within partner codebases.
- • Collaborate directly with engineering teams at partner organizations to optimize performance, resolve integration gaps, and troubleshoot complex technical issues in real-time.
- • Lead onboarding, testing, and pre-launch support processes to ensure seamless and successful implementation of advertising integrations for key clients.
- • Represent the technical voice of external partners internally, surfacing critical feedback to influence product roadmaps, platform priorities, and engineering initiatives.
- • Support high-impact escalations by providing clear, actionable technical direction to resolve blockers quickly and sustainably across partner and internal systems.
- • Drive the scaling of Reddit’s developer ecosystem by creating repeatable frameworks, improving documentation, and enhancing the overall partner integration experience.
- • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and business development teams to align Reddit’s advertising platform capabilities with evolving market needs and partner requirements.
- • Contribute directly to backend and API development using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js to implement and test integration solutions.
- • Act as a technical liaison between Reddit and external advertisers, ensuring technical alignment, compliance with industry standards, and optimal use of Reddit’s AdTech platform.
- • Participate in the definition and evolution of SDK patterns, authentication protocols (OAuth2/OpenID Connect), and REST API standards to improve partner adoption and platform reliability.
- • Influence product and platform strategy by translating partner feedback into actionable engineering requirements and prioritized roadmap items.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Reddit’s advertising platform architecture and its alignment with broader AdTech industry trends, standards, and competitive practices.
- • Deliver clear, compelling presentations of complex technical and business concepts to both internal leadership and external technical stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- • 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of owning end-to-end technical projects and cross-org coordination
- • Hands-on coding expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js), with focus on backend or API development
- • Proven ability to contribute directly to external integrations and prototype solutions within partner environments
- • Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and modern SDK patterns
- • Effective communicator with experience presenting complex technical and business ideas to internal and external stakeholders
