• • The Senior Director of Data Science Initiatives & Partnerships is a strategic leadership role at The Jackson Laboratory, responsible for shaping the future of data-driven discovery by connecting world-class research teams with high-value external partners across academia, industry, government, and technology.
• • Day to day, the role involves developing and driving the strategic vision for high-impact partnerships, overseeing the full partnership lifecycle from scoping and negotiation to governance and renewal, representing JAX as a senior ambassador at national and international forums, defining the enterprise-level data science roadmap, providing executive oversight of a portfolio of data science initiatives, establishing governance and risk-management frameworks, building trusted relationships with senior faculty and operational leaders, acting as a strategic integrator between external partnerships and internal research operations, leading and mentoring a high-performing team, and driving talent strategy and capability development across internal and external teams.
