📋 Description

• • The Sr. Financial Analyst will support JAX Mice and Clinical Research Services by executing complex financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to drive strategic decision-making and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining accurate financial and operational reports, communicating monthly performance to senior leaders, leading annual OPEX budgeting and monthly forecasting, evaluating strategic expenditures with ROI-based analysis, and supporting ad hoc financial projects.
• • The Jackson Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution with a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center and nearly 3,000 employees across the U.S., Japan, and China, dedicated to discovering genomic solutions for disease and improving human health.
• • In this role, the analyst will develop expertise in translating operational goals into financial KPIs, building metric-driven financial models, presenting insights to diverse stakeholders, and advancing skills in Excel, Power BI, and cross-functional collaboration within a mission-driven scientific organization.
