  • • Metriport Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Technical Sourcer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. This pivotal role sits at the critical intersection of talent acquisition, cutting-edge technology, and the vital healthcare industry. As a Technical Sourcer, you will be instrumental in scaling our organization by identifying and engaging with top-tier talent. This is a high-ownership, high-activity position where your contributions will have a tangible impact from day one, directly influencing the growth and success of Metriport.
  • • If you possess a passion for proactively hunting down elusive candidates, a knack for designing and executing innovative sourcing experiments to continuously refine your pipeline, and a desire to own the crucial early stages of the hiring funnel, then this role is meticulously crafted for you. You will be responsible for a wide array of sourcing activities, including prospecting relentlessly across a variety of platforms such as LinkedIn, Juicebox, Gem, Ashby, and other emerging channels to pinpoint exceptional candidates for both highly specialized technical positions and broader non-technical roles. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve crafting highly personalized, compelling outreach and follow-up sequences that are designed to achieve high conversion rates across multiple communication channels, including email, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. You will be tasked with building and meticulously maintaining robust sourcing funnels that are not only well-organized and nurtured but also consistently brimming with qualified prospects. A key performance indicator will be your ability to meticulously track response rates, conduct A/B testing on different messaging variations, and continuously optimize your sourcing strategies based on data-driven insights to ensure maximum effectiveness. Furthermore, you will be expected to strategically leverage automation and AI-powered tools to enhance your efficiency, enabling you to source smarter and faster, thereby maximizing your output.
  • • Beyond proactive sourcing, you will also play a crucial role in the initial candidate engagement process. This includes effectively qualifying candidate interest, thoroughly assessing their motivation and fit for Metriport's unique culture and mission, and efficiently routing high-signal prospects to the appropriate hiring managers and stakeholders for further evaluation. A significant responsibility will be the meticulous scheduling and coordination of initial introductory calls between promising candidates and our busy hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will contribute to shaping and managing Metriport's external hiring presence. This involves assisting in the management of our job listings across various platforms, contributing to engaging social content that highlights our company culture and opportunities, and optimizing our profiles on job sites to effectively attract world-class talent to our organization. Your efforts will directly contribute to building a strong employer brand that resonates with the best professionals in the industry.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. You will gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment within the rapidly evolving healthcare technology sector. You will have the chance to hone your skills in advanced sourcing techniques, experiment with cutting-edge recruitment technologies, and develop a deep understanding of the talent landscape in healthcare IT. By working closely with experienced founders and a high-performing team, you will learn best practices in talent acquisition and contribute directly to the strategic scaling of the company. Success in this role means not only filling critical roles but also building a sustainable talent pipeline that supports Metriport's ambitious growth objectives, offering a rewarding career path for those passionate about talent and technology.
  • • Metriport is an open-source data intelligence platform dedicated to revolutionizing how healthcare organizations access and exchange patient data in real-time. We achieve this by seamlessly integrating with all major US healthcare IT systems and tapping into a vast repository of medical data encompassing over 300 million individuals. Having achieved significant product-market fit, we boast multi-million dollar ARR, a strong customer base of over 100 clients including industry leaders like Amazon, Strive Health, and Weight Watchers, and robust backing from top-tier venture capital firms, ensuring years of operational runway. Our team is comprised of highly accomplished individuals, predominantly former founders, including Y Combinator alumni. We foster an engineering-centric culture characterized by minimal bureaucracy and a high degree of autonomy, where hiring decisions are based purely on competence and merit, rather than prestige. While we operate with a high level of intensity, with founders dedicating six days a week to our SF office, we empower our team members with the freedom to structure their schedules. Our focus is squarely on measuring output and fostering a culture of sustainable intensity, ensuring both productivity and well-being.
  • • This contract position is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a results-driven environment. While a hybrid work model is preferred in our San Francisco office, we are open to considering strong remote candidates who can demonstrate exceptional performance and communication. Metriport is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We actively welcome individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities to join our team and contribute to our mission.
