📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer III at Walmart Global Tech in Bangalore, you will build and maintain iOS features that power Walmart’s e-commerce experience, directly impacting how hundreds of millions of customers shop online and in-store through seamless, secure, and intuitive mobile applications.
• You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS features using modern technologies like Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, while collaborating with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QE to deliver scalable, testable, and maintainable solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• You will own end-to-end feature delivery—from implementation and testing to deployment and production monitoring—using observability tools like OpenObserve to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance, reliability, and user experience through profiling and crash analytics.
• You will contribute to modular, maintainable codebases by integrating with GraphQL and RESTful APIs, writing automated tests (unit, functional, E2E), improving CI/CD pipelines, and staying current with iOS ecosystem updates and emerging mobile trends to drive continuous improvement in development workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• 3+ years of professional experience in iOS development, preferably with consumer-facing or e-commerce applications
• Strong proficiency in Swift and solid experience with UIKit; working familiarity with SwiftUI and/or Objective-C is a plus
• Experience building features in modular, testable iOS architectures (e.g., MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture)
• Hands-on experience integrating with GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs, with strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency
• Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and automated testing practices (unit/functional/E2E)
