📋 Description

• As a Full Stack Engineer at Bjak, you will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable web applications that power Southeast Asia’s largest insurance portal, helping millions access affordable and sustainable financial services.
• You will develop high-quality backend systems using Node.js and frontend applications using React.js/Next.js, ensure production stability, optimize existing code, support cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and conduct code reviews to maintain consistency and quality.
• Bjak is a mission-driven fintech company headquartered in Malaysia, dedicated to breaking down barriers to financial access through technology, with a growing engineering team focused on innovation and impact.
• You will deepen your expertise in full-stack development, gain leadership experience through mentoring, contribute to high-impact systems, and grow professionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with strong foundation in algorithms and data structures
• Over 3 years of full-time experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in backend technologies including Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, GraphQL, and Postman
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including React.js, Next.js, and Styled-components
• Experience with database management systems such as MongoDB and MySQL
• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer
• Demonstrated passion for programming and independent problem-solving
• Ability to communicate in English
