📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer role focused on building scalable, high-quality full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript to support Bjak’s mission of delivering affordable and sustainable financial services across Southeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain backend systems with NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, and frontend applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components while ensuring production stability and resolving critical issues promptly.
• Collaborate within a fast-moving, innovative tech team at Bjak, the largest insurance portal in Southeast Asia, headquartered in Malaysia, driving financial inclusion through technology.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, optimize existing systems, and contribute to technical growth while gaining exposure to cloud platforms, automation workflows, and modern DevOps practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with strong foundation in algorithms and data structures
• Over 3 years of full-time software engineering experience
• Proficiency in backend technologies: NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL, and Postman
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components
• Experience with database management: MongoDB and MySQL
• Familiarity with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer
