- • As an Account Executive at Blockworks Group LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling the company’s full suite of data, media, and events products to crypto-native and institutional clients, directly contributing to Blockworks’ mission of transforming complex crypto data into actionable insights that empower better decision-making across the industry.
- • You will own the full sales cycle for a defined set of accounts, proactively building pipeline, identifying high-potential opportunities, and closing deals ranging from $50k to $100k+ in value, while representing Blockworks at key industry events to deepen relationships and accelerate trust with senior decision-makers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting targeted outreach and prospecting, developing customized proposals that integrate data, media, and event solutions based on client goals, negotiating and closing deals, maintaining rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting, attending crypto industry conferences and meetups to engage partners in person, and collaborating with internal teams to share insights and refine go-to-market strategies.
- • You will continuously monitor crypto market trends, emerging narratives, protocol developments, and capital flows to inform your sales approach, enabling you to engage clients with timely, relevant insights that position Blockworks as a strategic partner rather than just a vendor.
- • The sales team operates with a strong culture of collaboration, discipline, and shared ownership — you’ll be expected to contribute to a collective success mindset by sharing learnings, supporting peers, and embracing experimentation and discomfort as part of growth in a fast-moving industry.
- • In this role, you’ll develop deep expertise in crypto market dynamics, enterprise sales methodologies, and consultative selling across complex product bundles, while building a track record of closing six-figure deals and earning trust with CMOs, founders, and growth leaders at leading crypto institutions.
- • You’ll also sharpen your ability to synthesize technical and market intelligence into compelling business narratives, enhance your CRM and forecasting discipline, and grow into a trusted advisor who helps clients navigate the evolving digital asset landscape with confidence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of three years of proven success in a closing sales role, preferably in crypto, SaaS, or emerging technology, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota and experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to closed-won.
- • Demonstrated ability to sell six-figure deals, build and manage your own pipeline, and articulate detailed deal histories including stakeholder mapping, objection handling, and negotiation strategies.
- • Experience selling to senior decision-makers such as CMOs, heads of growth, or founders at crypto companies, institutions, or DeFi platforms, with the ability to build long-term, trusted relationships beyond transactional interactions.
- • Familiarity with Blockworks’ product ecosystem (data, media, events) or similar B2B tech/media offerings, and the ability to create customized, integrated solutions that address specific client objectives.
- • Comfort using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to log activities, forecast accurately, and maintain pipeline discipline — understanding that consistent process drives long-term performance.
- • Optional but preferred: direct experience selling data or technology products alongside media/event sponsorships, exposure to institutional digital asset teams or DeFi protocols, and active use of AI tools to enhance outreach, research, and sales efficiency.
