📋 Description

• As an Actuarial Analyst 2, Analytics/Forecasting at Humana Inc., you will analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions, directly supporting business intelligence and organizational planning.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include establishing metrics, conducting data analyses, ensuring data integrity through process development and controls, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, troubleshooting data issues, performing root cause analysis, and developing cost-effective resolutions for data anomalies.
• You will be part of the Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting team within CenterWell Senior Primary Care, a Humana company focused on delivering integrated, personalized healthcare experiences for seniors, where you’ll contribute to forecasting the organization’s short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in actuarial analytics, strengthen your ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences, and gain experience with healthcare data systems—positioning you for advancement in actuarial science and healthcare analytics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
• Experience in SAS, SQL, or Python (preferred)
• Comfort in communicating technical concepts to non-actuarial audiences (preferred)
• Experience with pharmacy claims (preferred)
