📋 Description
- • As an AI Platform Enablement Lead – Engineering & Adoption at Progressive Leasing, you will serve as the critical bridge between the AI platform team and the 350+ person technology organization, driving the adoption of AI-native ways of working across engineering teams to accelerate innovation and delivery.
- • Your work will directly impact how effectively engineering teams leverage AI tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, ensuring these technologies are not just deployed but deeply integrated into daily workflows to unlock measurable gains in productivity, code quality, and developer satisfaction.
- • You will spend the majority of your time embedded with engineering teams, working side-by-side with developers to stand up AI coding tools, establish platform standards, and introduce agentic workflows that enhance their delivery processes without disruption.
- • You will design and deliver hands-on enablement programs including workshops, lunch-and-learns, one-on-one coaching, and team onboarding sessions focused on practical AI tool usage, prompt engineering, and context file configuration tailored to real development tasks.
- • You will assess team-level AI readiness across the organization by evaluating documentation, coding standards, repo structure, and workflow design to identify barriers to effective AI adoption and prescribe targeted interventions that move teams from passive tool usage to high-leverage, AI-assisted development.
- • You will create and maintain playbooks, best practice guides, and enablement materials that help teams seamlessly integrate AI tools into their existing Git, Jira, Confluence, and GitHub Actions workflows, ensuring consistency and scalability across the technology organization.
- • You will define, track, and report on adoption indicators — measuring what’s working, what’s stalled, and where adjustments are needed — providing clear, data-driven signals to platform leadership to inform backlog prioritization and strategy.
- • You will serve as a trusted internal consultant, coach, and technologist, gathering structured feedback from engineering teams and translating it into actionable requirements that shape the evolution of the AI platform itself.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, developer relations, technical enablement, or a similar role combining deep technical credibility with organizational change and adoption work.
- • Practical experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent, including context file setup, prompt engineering for development tasks, and configuring agentic workflows.
- • Proven experience delivering technical enablement, internal training, or developer advocacy programs at a team or organizational scale, including workshops, coaching, and creating enablement materials.
- • Strong ability to assess team-level AI readiness, identify gaps in documentation or workflows, and prescribe targeted interventions that drive meaningful adoption and value from AI tools.
- • Excellent written communication skills for producing clear playbooks, structured feedback reports, and best practice guides that inform platform team priorities and engineering practices.
- • Comfort facilitating workshops and coaching sessions with engineers of varying skill levels and enthusiasm for AI-assisted development, adapting your approach to diverse audiences.
- • Metrics-oriented mindset with the ability to define adoption indicators, track progress over time, and present clear signals on what’s working and what needs adjustment.
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
