📋 Description
- • As an Analytics Engineer at MoonPay, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by building and maintaining reliable data pipelines and models that support business intelligence, product analytics, and compliance reporting in the fast-evolving crypto and payments space.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and modern data tools, creating scalable data models in a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and finance teams to deliver actionable insights.
- • You will be part of a high-impact Data & Analytics team within a fast-growing, globally distributed fintech company that is trusted by over 30 million users and 500+ partners, operating at the forefront of blockchain innovation with a mission to democratize access to financial systems.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data engineering within regulated financial environments, gain exposure to complex crypto-fiat transaction flows, and contribute to systems that power real-time analytics for risk, compliance, and product performance — positioning you as a key enabler of MoonPay’s scalable, trust-first infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling in a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration platforms
- • Experience working with large-scale datasets in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
- • Understanding of data quality, testing, and monitoring practices to ensure reliability
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, finance, and compliance
- • Experience or familiarity with financial services, payments, or crypto-related data domains
