📋 Description

• As an Applied AI & Automation Engineer at Glow25, you will directly reduce operational friction by designing and deploying production-grade automations that streamline high-volume, repeatable workflows across Operations, Support, Finance, and Technology teams, enabling faster, more reliable processes that scale with the company’s growth.
• You will partner cross-functionally to identify automation opportunities by analyzing manual effort and handoffs, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, risk, and feasibility, then design and build robust workflows using APIs, webhooks, event-based systems, and applied AI/LLMs for tasks like classification, routing, summarization, and decision support — always integrating with existing systems rather than replacing them.
• You will own the reliability and continuous improvement of your automations by ensuring they are observable, testable, and maintainable, monitoring performance in production, iterating based on real-world behavior, and replacing fragile scripts with reusable, scalable patterns that reduce technical debt.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in production automation orchestration, applied AI/LLM integration in real business contexts, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment — gaining hands-on experience balancing technical excellence with operational pragmatism while contributing to meaningful process improvements that affect daily operations.
• You will grow into a trusted automation advisor within the organization, learning how to evaluate when automation adds clear value versus when it introduces unnecessary complexity, and how to build solutions that are not only technically sound but also adopted, trusted, and sustained by non-technical teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing and operating reliable automations in production, including workflow orchestration using tools like APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems.
• Practical experience applying AI or LLMs in real-world workflows where they deliver clear, measurable value — such as classification, routing, summarization, or decision support — with an understanding of when and how to use them effectively.
• Comfortable working across imperfect, legacy systems and inconsistent APIs, with a strong sense for operational risk, trade-offs, and the ability to design resilient solutions that prioritize maintainability over perfection.
