- • The Associate Solar PV Design Engineer will support the design and engineering of commercial rooftop solar projects, contributing directly to Solar Landscape’s mission of rapidly deploying clean energy across the U.S. by transforming underutilized rooftops into local power plants.
- • Day to day, the role involves assisting senior engineers in creating photovoltaic system layouts using CAD software, performing preliminary electrical and structural calculations, reviewing site surveys and interconnection requirements, and preparing permit-ready drawing sets for submission to authorities having jurisdiction.
- • The team is part of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization headquartered in Asbury Park, NJ, with regional offices in Chicago, Baltimore, and NYC, operating in over a dozen states. The company culture emphasizes clear thinking, accountability, collaboration, and a no-ego approach to solving complex clean energy challenges.
- • In this role, the engineer will gain hands-on experience in commercial solar design, deepen technical knowledge of PV systems and interconnection standards, develop proficiency in industry-standard design tools, and contribute to high-impact projects that accelerate the nation’s clean energy transition.
