- • As an Automations and Controls Engineer at Vital Lyfe, you will design, develop, commission, and manage automation and controls projects critical to manufacturing, product testing, reliability testing, and end-of-line validation for a company redefining water autonomy through innovative personal water making technology.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and debugging PLC and controls code, designing automated equipment and test systems involving pumps, motors, valves, sensors, and electrical instrumentation, implementing compliant safety systems, generating HMI screens and electrical documentation, and helping define the company’s controls strategy for scalable factory systems.
- • You will join a tight-knit, mission-driven engineering team at a fast-paced startup focused on scaling breakthrough technology in water security and climate resilience, where your work directly impacts global relevance and long-term career growth.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with industrial automation systems, safety standards (NEC, NFPA, OSHA, UL508A), fieldbus networks, HMI/SCADA systems, and high-volume manufacturing environments, enabling you to build deep expertise in controls engineering while contributing to scalable, reliable factory operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or a related technical discipline
- • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, factory automation, automated test systems, or controls system design and implementation
- • Proficiency in PLC programming (Beckhoff TwinCAT, Rockwell, Siemens, Codesys, Omron, or similar) and hands-on experience designing and commissioning high-quality electrical panels and electro-mechanical systems
