📋 Description
- • Backend Engineer (AI coding) role focused on building and scaling backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure for a fast-growing European startup developing an API-first SaaS platform for developer tools.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and scaling backend services, designing real-time processing systems, improving platform performance and reliability, working on data flows and async processing, contributing to infrastructure and deployment pipelines, using AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development, and collaborating with engineers and founders on architecture and technical decisions.
- • The company is a fast-growing, early-stage European startup building developer-focused infrastructure products with emphasis on scalability, performance, and real-time processing; the product is already in market and the team is scaling backend systems and expanding core capabilities in a fast-paced, highly technical, product-driven environment with strong engineering culture.

🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of backend engineering experience
- • Strong experience building and shipping production systems
- • Proficiency in backend development (language-agnostic mindset; Node.js, Python, Go, etc.)
- • Experience with APIs, distributed systems, and scalable architectures
- • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- • Comfort working in an AI-assisted coding workflow (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.)
