📋 Description

• CDP Architect / Lead role focused on designing and building a Customer Data Platform from scratch for Sweed AB, a cannabis retail platform startup, to unify data across POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory systems.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing data ingestion pipelines, implementing identity resolution (deterministic and probabilistic), building AI enrichment layers for segmentation and predictive modeling, ensuring privacy-by-design compliance (GDPR/CCPA), and collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and client teams.
• Sweed AB is a remote-first, product-driven startup with over 200 employees globally, building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform that integrates POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management to eliminate reliance on third-party tools.
• The role offers the opportunity to define the foundational architecture of a scalable CDP, gain hands-on experience in regulated verticals, work with cutting-edge AI and LLM enrichment, and directly impact product innovation in a fast-growing, mission-driven industry.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building a CDP from scratch (0→1) or scaling one substantially
• Expertise in identity resolution: deterministic and probabilistic profile matching
• Strong data engineering skills: ingestion pipelines, streaming, warehouse/lakehouse, reverse ETL
• Experience with ML for customer data: segmentation, propensity/churn/CLV, recommendation systems, and LLM-based enrichment
• Knowledge of privacy and compliance frameworks: GDPR/CCPA, consent management, data minimization
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS architectures with data isolation by client and state
