- • In this Central Business Development Manager role, you will be instrumental in executing Allica Bank's Asset Finance Key Business Introducer (KBI) strategy. Your primary focus will be to cultivate and manage a portfolio of UK-based Asset Finance KBIs, working collaboratively with external Business Development Managers (BDMs). This involves providing an exemplary level of customer service and acting as a central point of contact, ensuring maximum value is delivered to Allica, our KBIs, and ultimately, our SME customers. You will be the go-to expert for Asset Finance products and market dynamics, articulating Allica's values and lending appetite with confidence and clarity.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass both proactive business development and diligent relationship management. You will handle inbound inquiries from KBIs and proactively make outbound calls to foster new business relationships, address any emerging issues, and efficiently progress transactions through the pipeline. A significant part of your role will involve building and nurturing a portfolio of KBIs, managing their day-to-day operations, and ensuring the profitability of your assigned segment. This requires a deep understanding of their business needs and how Allica's Asset Finance solutions can best serve them.
- • Collaboration is key to success at Allica. You will work closely with our field-based colleagues, including regional Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), and senior leadership such as the Head of Asset Finance and the Chief Commercial Officer. This integrated approach ensures a cohesive strategy across all target markets and a seamless experience for our partners and customers. You will also play a crucial role in supporting the submission of lending applications, ensuring all necessary information is accurately provided to our Underwriting team in line with Allica's Credit Policy, enabling them to make sound and timely lending decisions.
- • Owning the customer service experience is paramount. You will be dedicated to providing an excellent and consistent level of service to all KBIs, prospective customers, and existing customers. This involves being responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented in every interaction. Furthermore, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our Asset Finance products and distribution channels, providing valuable market insights and feedback to help shape our future offerings. Maintaining meticulous records within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is essential for tracking progress, managing relationships, and ensuring data integrity.
- • This role demands adaptability and resilience, as you will be expected to respond effectively to stretching and often competing requests from various stakeholders. You will be a champion of Allica's culture and values, promoting our commitment to supporting established SMEs. Adherence to all mandatory policies and operational procedures is critical for maintaining internal controls and ensuring regulatory compliance.
