📋 Description

• Lead the enterprise technology strategy for a cloud-based SaaS organization, aligning technology initiatives with business and product growth objectives, including M&A activities.
• Serve as the primary executive advisor to the CEO and leadership team on technology risks, investment priorities, and digital transformation opportunities.
• Establish and enforce technology governance frameworks, decision standards, and operating rhythms including planning, prioritization, and KPI/OKR tracking.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across IT, security, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and corporate applications.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to standardize practices in incident response, problem management, change/release governance, observability (monitoring, logging, alerting), and SRE/DevOps maturity.
• Drive a culture of system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement through post-incident reviews and root cause remediation.
• Own and mature the company’s cybersecurity program, including data protection, encryption standards, secrets management, identity and access management, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, customer contractual obligations, and other regulatory frameworks through audits, penetration testing, and remediation programs.
• Oversee enterprise risk management for third-party and vendor technology relationships.
• Implement enterprise-wide data governance policies covering retention, access control, and analytics enablement.
• Lead cloud infrastructure strategy for client-facing platforms and internal services including identity, networking, and collaboration tooling.
• Drive FinOps practices to optimize cloud and SaaS spending while maintaining availability, security, and performance.
• Act as executive sponsor for customer security reviews, due diligence requests, and technical escalations.
• Communicate technology strategy, system health, and risk posture clearly to internal stakeholders and strategic customers or partners.
• Enable and scale secure end-user services and IT support operations for a globally distributed workforce.
• Ensure readiness for audits, exams, and regulatory reviews with documented controls and audit trails.
• Standardize and modernize technology platforms within a hybrid Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, security).
• Deliver seamless Day-1 readiness and post-close stabilization during technology integration of acquisitions with minimal business disruption.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership with ownership of enterprise technology strategy and delivery
• Proven experience operating in a SaaS/cloud-first environment with high availability expectations
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, security) and hybrid platform standardization
• Strong track record of building and leading cohesive, high-performing technology teams
• Demonstrated success leading M&A technology integration with minimal business disruption
• Experience operating in regulated, mission-critical environments with strong governance, audit readiness, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2)
