- • As a Client Delivery Project Manager at Velera, you will lead and manage the full project lifecycle to deliver multiple initiatives that support financial institutions across North America, ensuring successful planning, development, testing, and implementation of payment technology solutions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional project teams, facilitating work breakdown processes, maintaining project documentation, communicating status to stakeholders, coordinating with technology leaders and vendors, managing client expectations, troubleshooting issues, conducting lessons learned sessions, and traveling to client sites (up to 25%) to align on specifications and business objectives.
- • You will join Velera, a premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and integrated fintech solutions provider serving over 4,000 financial institutions, guided by a people-helping-people philosophy that emphasizes inclusion, psychological safety, wellbeing, and belonging in a remote-first, flexible work environment.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in payment processing systems, card industry standards, and enterprise project management while strengthening leadership, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the opportunity to influence senior executives and drive successful go-lives for complex financial technology projects.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
- • 3 years of project management experience
- • 3 years in a client-facing role
- • 3 years in the financial services industry with card processing and payment solutions preferred
- • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- • Working knowledge of various project methodologies and Enterprise Project Management tools
- • Proven facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats and deliver presentations using audiovisual aids
- • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in decision-making
- • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%)
