Cloud analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Analyze and monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for optimization.

Develop and implement cloud solutions based on AWS services.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud technologies into applications.

Ensure cloud security best practices are implemented and maintained.

Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.

Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.

Automate cloud infrastructure management tasks using scripting and automation tools.

Participate in on-call rotation for cloud infrastructure support.

Use Quip to document procedures, share information, and collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on AWS.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.

Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience with React is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with Quip or similar collaboration tools.
