- • Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to deliver comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialty food service equipment.
- • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment including cooking appliances, refrigeration units, and ware-washing systems using mechanical aptitude and technical diagrams.
- • Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers to assist with diagnostic challenges and accurate parts identification.
- • Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for real-time technical support while onsite to ensure effective repairs.
- • Install all ordered parts in a timely, professional manner in full compliance with company policy and safety standards.
- • Promote and recommend additional Smart Care services to customers based on equipment needs and service opportunities.
- • Produce accurate and timely administrative documentation including work orders, time reports, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
- • Maintain a neat, organized service vehicle with proper tracking of tools and parts inventory.
- • Adhere to all safe work practices and accident prevention procedures while working in hazardous environments including damp, humid, freezing conditions, and around pressurized steam, open flames, heated surfaces, and electrical hazards.
- • Perform work on ladders, roofs, and other elevated surfaces as required.
- • Frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry items up to 70 pounds.
- • Participate in an emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
- • Be available for occasional overnight travel as assigned by management.
- • Pursue professional CFESA certifications and take advantage of on-the-job training and on-demand technical support for career advancement.
- • Utilize company-provided service vehicle, fuel card, tablet, and cell phone for all business-related activities.
- • Maintain productivity levels in alignment with company performance standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or equivalent
- • 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service
- • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- • Willingness and ability to participate in emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends
- • Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned
