📋 Description

• The Contract & Budget Associate at PFM Asset Management plays a critical role in supporting clinical research operations by developing, negotiating, and managing study budgets and legal agreements essential to the execution of European clinical trials. This position ensures financial and contractual alignment with study protocols, timelines, and company standards, directly contributing to the timely and compliant delivery of research initiatives.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and negotiating global study budgets based on protocol requirements, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, and amendment agreements. The associate collaborates with Clinical Operations teams and internal/external stakeholders to resolve contractual issues, ensures adherence to company policies and contracting standards, updates study teams on contract status, coordinates agreement execution, and maintains contract files and databases, including archiving. They also identify process improvements and take corrective action as needed.
• PFM Asset Management operates within the Precision Medicine Group, a global provider of integrated solutions for drug development and commercialization. The company supports life sciences clients through strategic, scientific, and operational expertise, with a focus on innovation and quality in clinical research. This role is based remotely in Hungary and contributes to a virtual, global team environment where collaboration across time zones and functions is essential.
• In this role, the individual will develop advanced expertise in clinical trial contract management, budget negotiation, and regulatory compliance within the life sciences industry. They will strengthen their ability to manage complex, time-sensitive agreements in a fast-paced setting, enhance cross-functional collaboration skills, and gain exposure to global clinical research operations. The position offers opportunities to improve process efficiency, exercise independent judgment, and grow into a trusted advisor on contractual and financial aspects of clinical studies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of contract management experience, preferably in clinical research or a similar industry setting
• 1 year of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to clinical research (e.g., NDAs, Clinical Trial Agreements) and managing the contract lifecycle
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
