- • As a Contracts Analyst at Zip, you will play a critical role in supporting the Solutions Services Team by ensuring accurate and compliant Statement of Work (SOW) creation and customization, directly enabling the sales team to close deals efficiently while protecting the company’s ability to deliver on its SaaS platform. This role is foundational to Zip’s mission of simplifying enterprise procurement, where your attention to detail helps transform complex vendor agreements into streamlined, customer-ready contracts.
- • You will serve as the first point of contact for new SOW requests, providing template SOWs and identifying required components based on customer needs and product capabilities. Your day-to-day includes reviewing and analyzing SOW customization requests for compliance with internal policies and technical feasibility, acting as a quality gate to validate scoping before finalization, and maintaining meticulous records of SOW versions, approvals, and customization details to ensure audit readiness and operational continuity.
- • You will collaborate closely with senior team members, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to understand customer requirements, tailor contracts to align with Zip’s product offerings, and creatively solve for customer asks in ways that balance client needs with internal delivery constraints. Additionally, you will support Solutions Services Managers in preparing documentation for customer implementation projects and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency across cross-functional teams through process optimization and documentation improvements.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
- • 1-3 years of experience in contracts, legal, or administrative roles (internship experience qualifies)
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), G-Suite (Google Docs), and Slack
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- • Proactive, responsive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- • Familiarity with or strong interest in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, and contract lifecycle processes
