📋 Description
- • Partner with WEX analytics community, risk partners, and commercial teams to create best-in-class reporting that monitors the performance of WEX products and portfolios throughout the customer lifecycle, enabling data-driven decisions to control future losses and improve credit journeys.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leveraging SQL and Python to query data from Snowflake and other sources, developing dashboards and packaged reports using Tableau, identifying KPIs/KRIs in collaboration with LOB and risk teams, analyzing trends to uncover root causes of adverse credit performance, and preparing strategic recommendations for management based on cross-functional insights.
- • The role sits within WEX’s analytics community, partnering closely with risk, commercial, and finance teams to ensure data availability, interpret data origins in operational processes, and reverse-engineer risk/performance trends to support portfolio growth while mitigating risk.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial services analytics, master advanced SQL and Snowflake techniques, gain experience with AI-enabled tools like Snowflake Cortex, and develop strategic influence by turning data into actionable business insights that impact credit risk management and portfolio optimization.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- • 5+ years of experience in financial services and/or credit risk support
- • Expert-level working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake
- • Experience with data management tools including Python, Tableau, dbt, GitHub, and data lakes
- • Experience with Snowflake Intelligence (Cortex) or other AI tools preferred
