- • As a Credit Risk Senior Analyst at Marqeta, you will lead underwriting strategy to launch successful credit programs and drive innovation in credit strategies and underwriting models for consumer and SMB credit card portfolios.
- • Day to day, you will evaluate and refine credit policies and models, develop data-driven strategies, conduct risk segmentation and loss forecasting, build dashboards and present KPIs and KRIs to senior management, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting credit card products.
- • You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Banking, Product, Finance, and Data teams, while building strong relationships with external bank partners and customers in a Flexible First remote work environment.
- • In this role, you will achieve impact by minimizing losses, enhancing profitability, establishing best-in-class credit strategies, and advancing your expertise in credit risk analysis, statistical modeling, and cross-functional collaboration within a leading fintech company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or another quantitative field
- • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a financial institution with a focus on credit risk analysis
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with statistical modeling, including machine learning techniques
- • Demonstrated ability to solve white space problems and develop innovative solutions
- • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently on complex projects
- • Strong communication skills, with experience in presenting and explaining complex data to senior leadership
