- • Solace Corporation is on a mission to fundamentally transform the U.S. healthcare system, which is notoriously complex and leaves a significant majority of adults struggling with health literacy. We empower patients by connecting them with expert advocates and providing essential tools to make informed decisions, ultimately leading to better health outcomes. As a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by prominent investors like Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP, we are a lean, mission-driven, and rapidly expanding U.S.-based team.
- • This is not a role for those seeking to coast; we are dedicated to redefining healthcare, a pursuit that demands urgency, precision, and a deep sense of empathy. If you are eager to challenge yourself, refine your skills, and contribute to impactful work alongside a passionate and caring team, Solace is the place for you. We embrace an intense, results-oriented environment.
- • As the CRO Manager at Solace, you will play a pivotal role in systematically enhancing the patient journey through our digital ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the conversion funnel, from a patient's initial website interaction to their successful attendance at a physician appointment. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring deep engagement with the entire conversion process.
- • You will lead a team of CRO specialists, guiding their efforts in designing, launching, and analyzing experiments. This role transcends superficial changes; it is about identifying and diagnosing critical user friction points, developing well-conceived tests, and translating experimental findings into sustainable growth strategies. Your work will span our website, core funnels, and post-booking experiences, shaping our experimentation strategy and instilling rigor in how Solace tests, learns, and scales its operations.
- • Key responsibilities include owning conversion optimization across critical funnel surfaces, such as paid and organic landing pages, patient intake flows, and pre-visit engagement points. You will be instrumental in evolving Solace's experimentation culture by refining existing frameworks, improving documentation practices, and establishing robust decision-making standards.
- • As a people leader, you will manage and mentor a team of CRO specialists. This involves providing clear direction on test priorities, offering coaching on experimentation best practices and rigor, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality output. You will also take ownership of funnel-level qualitative research, which includes recruiting and interviewing patients, synthesizing their insights into actionable, testable hypotheses, and disseminating these learnings across the team.
- • Cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Design teams to ensure that experimentation efforts are tightly aligned with overarching company objectives. A critical aspect of your role will be maintaining a prioritized CRO backlog that is directly tied to measurable business outcomes, rather than simply accumulating a list of ideas.
- • You will partner strategically with channel managers responsible for platforms like Meta and Google Ads, ensuring message consistency and alignment throughout the entire patient acquisition funnel. A core function will be translating experiment results into clear, actionable insights and compelling recommendations for various stakeholders.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for keeping the team informed about the latest CRO tools, tactics, and emerging trends, critically evaluating which new approaches are genuinely worth testing versus those that are merely noise. Success in this role will be measured by a consistent output of high-quality experiments that yield measurable improvements in key metrics such as Click-Through Rate (CTR), booking rates, and patient show rates, ultimately contributing to a more streamlined patient experience and a team that possesses a profound understanding of patient needs.
