📋 Description

• As a Data Analyst in Merchant Operations at Adyen, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic insights that drive operational excellence and scalable services for one of the world’s leading financial technology platforms.
• Day to day, you will gain deep understanding of Merchant Operations processes—including onboarding, risk, and AML—to identify business problems, extract meaningful insights from large datasets using SQL and BI tools, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
• You will collaborate closely with Merchant Operations leadership and data engineering teams to define KPIs, design analytical workflows, and support decision-making through storytelling and data visualization tailored to diverse stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries and experience with BI tools to extract and visualize insights from large datasets
• Proven track record in project management, with ability to drive structured business initiatives and adapt dynamically (‘build as you go’)
• Strong affinity for or interest in AML, KYC, risk, or operational processes, particularly within payments or financial services
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with global, multicultural teams
