- • As a Data Annotation Specialist for Arabic (Najdi/Hijazi) dialect, you will play a critical role in improving the performance of Cohere’s Large Language Models by labeling, ranking, auditing, and correcting language data to ensure high-quality training inputs.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include labeling and ranking machine learning data with advanced Arabic proficiency, auditing and correcting inaccuracies in text, image, JSON, TSV/CSV, or Markdown formats, completing reading and text-based tasks with meticulous attention to detail, evaluating preference-based responses in Arabic, recommending optimizations for data quality, providing feedback to cross-functional teams on language-related matters, and maintaining detail-oriented execution during repetitive annotation tasks.
- • You will join Cohere, a team of researchers, engineers, and designers passionate about advancing AI to serve humanity, where diverse perspectives are valued and innovation is driven by rigorous data quality and model performance.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in AI data annotation, deepen your linguistic precision in Arabic (Najdi/Hijazi), gain hands-on experience with structured data formats (JSON, CSV, etc.), and contribute directly to the refinement of frontier AI models used in real-world applications like semantic search and content generation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic (Najdi/Hijazi) dialect
- • Excellent command over English
- • Basic familiarity with JSON/TSV/CSV/Markdown data manipulation
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- • High tolerance for repetitive and monotonous work
- • Ability to follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity, and work independently
