- • The Data Management Strategy & Governance Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and value of enterprise data by developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and controls across The Cigna Group.
- • Day to day, the advisor will partner with business and technical leaders to design and roll out enterprise-level data governance policy controls, conduct maturity assessments, identify gaps in compliance, and collaborate with Lines of Business to assess and document evidence of policy adherence.
- • The Enterprise Data Management Strategy & Governance Policy & Program Office is responsible for maximizing data value, reducing organizational risk, and ensuring consistent, trusted data throughout its lifecycle through standardized policies and oversight.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in healthcare data domains (medical, claims, clinical, pharmacy, etc.), gain experience in enterprise-scale data governance frameworks, and build influence as a trusted advisor in data risk management and compliance initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a healthcare business environment
- • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Governance
- • Experience with data governance, controls, metadata, data quality, and/or reporting processes and tools
- • In-depth knowledge and experience with healthcare terminology, concepts and business processes
- • Ability to convey complex data concepts via visual techniques to succinctly communicate
- • Experience working in Agile project management (SAFe experience a plus)
