- • The Data Mapping Lead Analyst at EviCore (a division of The Cigna Group) serves as a critical bridge between business and IT, responsible for gathering data requirements across disparate systems and compiling them into comprehensive functional specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing multiple concurrent implementation and enhancement projects, leading requirements gathering, technical writing, system analysis, data design, validation, application testing, and post-launch warranty support, while owning client communications and guiding them toward optimal data architecture solutions.
- • The role operates within Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group focused on innovating pharmacy, care, and benefit solutions to improve health outcomes for millions, working in a collaborative environment that values cross-departmental interfacing and process improvement.
- • The analyst will develop expertise in healthcare data standards (X12, HL7, FHIR, JSON, XML), lead data process improvement initiatives, mentor junior analysts, and strengthen skills in Agile methodology, conditional logic, SQL/PL/SQL, APIs, and stakeholder communication—positioning them for advancement in healthcare data analytics and technical business analysis.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED required
- • 3+ years of system/data analysis experience required
- • Competent understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and APIs of assigned modules required
- • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in MS Office applications required
- • Strong communication skills for interfacing between external and internal stakeholders required
- • Knowledge of healthcare industry data standards (X12, HL7, FHIR, JSON, XML, Custom Delimited) is a plus
