- • As a Data Scientist at Machinify, you will be instrumental in leading our analytics initiatives. This role demands a hands-on approach, requiring you to immerse yourself in the complexities of healthcare data to gain a profound understanding as you onboard and contribute. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and enhance our platform's capabilities.
- • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytical models and solutions that address critical business challenges within the healthcare payment landscape. This includes leveraging statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods to uncover trends, predict outcomes, and optimize processes for our clients.
- • A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to identify analytical opportunities and translate business requirements into robust data science solutions. You will be expected to communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • You will play a key role in the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and cleaning to model development, validation, and deployment. - • Responsibilities will include:
- • Developing and deploying machine learning models for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and optimization tasks.
- • Performing in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify key drivers and patterns within healthcare claims, financial, and operational data.
- • Designing and implementing A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to evaluate the impact of new features and strategies.
- • Creating and maintaining production-quality dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- • Writing efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- • Collaborating with engineering teams to build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
- • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and applying them to solve business problems.
- • Mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to the growth of the data science practice within Machinify.
- • Ensuring data privacy and security compliance in all analytical activities.
- • Contributing to the strategic roadmap for data analytics at Machinify, identifying new opportunities for data utilization and value creation.

- • Extensive hands-on experience with data science and engineering in a business environment, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering impactful analytical solutions.
- • Proven experience leading projects and delivering technical products with measurable business impact, showcasing strong project management and execution skills.
- • Analytical, first principles approach to problem solving and data-driven decision making, with the ability to break down complex problems and derive insights from data.
- • Proficiency in writing efficient and effective SQL queries on complex, large-scale datasets, including experience with data manipulation and transformation.
- • Experience with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise software environments, understanding how to leverage these platforms for data science workflows.
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative STEM discipline.
