- • As a Data Strategist - M&A, you will serve as the 'Value Architect' for Motorola Solutions' global M&A engine, building the financial and technical blueprint that scales the data ecosystem with each acquisition.
- • You will own the end-to-end integration roadmap, from modeling Day-1 migration costs to negotiating long-term prioritization of BI and Master Data workstreams with business leads, reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Data Intelligence.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating the intake of new data integration requests, prioritizing the M&A backlog based on business impact and technical readiness, developing 'Cost-to-Integrate' financial models, orchestrating phased data roadmaps (DWH migration, BI alignment, MDM integration), serving as budgetary liaison for M&A data work, and coordinating cross-functionally to track milestones and adjust forecasts.
- • You will join a rapidly expanding IT team at Motorola Solutions that reinvents how customers, partners, and employees interact with the company by leveraging new technology platforms in communications, software, video, and services to help keep people safer everywhere.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise data strategy, M&A integration, financial modeling, and cross-functional leadership while driving high-impact decisions at the intersection of Growth, Finance, and Enterprise Tech.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- • 5+ years of professional experience in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, FP&A, Data Operations, Private Equity, or related fields
- • Prior experience in due diligence, post-merger integration (PMI), or working within a Private Equity portfolio company
- • Demonstrated experience building complex financial models (TCO, ROI, or Budget Forecasting)
- • Functional understanding of the data lifecycle from raw data to business value (Data Warehousing, BI/Reporting, and MDM)
- • Exceptional ability to translate technical data concepts into business-friendly language for executive-level presentations
