- • As Director, IT AI/Integrations at Flock Safety, you will lead the creation of a new functional pillar within corporate IT focused on enterprise AI and SaaS integrations, directly enabling scalable, secure, and intelligent automation across business functions to support the company’s mission of building a nationwide public-private safety network.
- • You will design and govern the enterprise automation and AI strategy, including the standardization of a unified WorkatoOne MCP platform, ensuring seamless data flow, process optimization, and responsible AI adoption while aligning technical initiatives with business goals across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, People, and Security teams.
- • You will build and lead a high-performing team to architect scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions using microservices, event-driven systems, containerization, API-first designs, and agentic AI capabilities, minimizing system duplication and driving efficiency through intelligent workflow automation.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with IT Applications, IT Project Management, Data & Analytics, and Security teams to compile and execute a prioritized Automations/AI Roadmap, ensuring applications, data, and workflows are future-ready for scale and compliant with enterprise governance standards.
- • You will mentor and influence stakeholders across the organization to foster a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation in AI adoption, championing responsible use of emerging technologies like Generative and Agentic AI while maintaining strict adherence to privacy, security, and compliance requirements including CJIS certification.
- • You will establish and enforce integration development standards, lead technical design sessions, maintain comprehensive documentation (architecture diagrams, design specs, operational guidelines), and partner with vendors to maximize ROI on software investments while ensuring reliability and performance of the integrated ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of progressive experience designing and implementing integration solutions, with at least 5+ years leading technical teams in high-growth, dynamic environments.
- • Proven experience with WorkatoOne to integrate SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Rippling) and build an MCP (Managed Cloud Platform) foundation for enterprise automation.
- • Hands-on experience applying emerging AI/ML solutions in Generative AI and Agentic AI (e.g., WorkatoOne, ChatGPT, Glean, Replit) to automate business workflows and drive productivity.
- • Strong knowledge of integration methods including API (SOAP, REST), JSON, MFT, Pub/Sub, Webhooks, Event Driven Architecture, and authentication standards such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and API key-based security.
- • Ability to champion responsible AI use, align enterprise architecture with business strategy, and mentor cross-functional teams to foster innovation and continuous learning in AI adoption.
- • Previous experience in a fast-paced, fully-remote environment within a high-tech, hyper-growth industry is preferred.
