Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Lead and grow engineering teams through managers and senior individual contributors, creating clarity, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
- • Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and other engineering leaders to turn strategy into execution across a complex, cross-product area.
- • Set engineering direction that balances speed, quality, and long-term scalability.
- • Raise the bar on engineering excellence, operational health, and delivery rigour in an environment where Front of House has made quality, proactive monitoring, and stronger governance a clear priority.
- • Help teams ship the capabilities that matter most to our strategy, including areas such as guest recognition, personalised experiences, automation, role-aware workflows, and connected guest journeys.
- • Drive strong cross-tribe and cross-division collaboration, especially where ecosystem value depends on shared capabilities across Front of House, Back of House, Platform, and Fintech.
- • Coach leaders to make sound decisions, reduce unnecessary complexity, and build teams that can move fast without collapsing under scale or operational pressure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Significant experience leading engineering organisations in a modern B2B SaaS, platform, or product company.
- • A track record of leading through scale, ambiguity, and change.
- • Strong technical judgment with the ability to guide architecture, quality, and execution without needing to be the person writing all the code.
- • Experience building healthy organisations through other leaders, including coaching engineering managers and senior engineers.
- • The ability to partner deeply with Product and Design and to lead in a model where business context, user value, and engineering execution are tightly connected.
- • A bias for clarity, pragmatism, and high standards.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Unlimited paid holiday
- • Participation in our company share program
- • Paid parental leave (6 months fully paid for primary caregivers, 2 months for secondary, available after one year of service)
- • An annual Learning budget of €300 (and more for high performers) to support your development
- • Monthly "EDGE" time to Explore, Develop, Grow, and Elevate yourself
- • A work from anywhere policy with flexibility to work abroad for a few weeks each year
- • Relocation options, available after one year
- • Flexible, hybrid working options
- • A home office setup budget to make your workspace your own and a monthly work-from-home allowance
- • Claude tokens, so you can automate workflows and build smarter, more efficient ways of working
