- • Lead high-performing engineering teams to drive predictable, high-quality delivery as PactFi scales beyond Series A, evolving the organization from early-stage execution to a structured, scalable system without losing speed.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of critical product initiatives across multiple teams, drive predictable execution as the organization scales, introduce appropriate structure without slowing teams down, and balance speed, scope, and quality in a fast-moving environment.
- • Build and evolve team structures as the company grows from Series A into later stages, hire, develop, and lead Engineering Managers and engineers, establish clear ownership boundaries and accountability, and coach emerging leaders to level up management across the organization.
- • Evolve engineering processes from early-stage to scalable, introduce delivery metrics (predictability, cycle time, throughput), ensure strong engineering fundamentals (testing, reliability, production readiness), and drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve velocity and quality.
- • Partner closely with Product and Design to translate priorities into plans, bring clarity to roadmap planning, communicate tradeoffs and progress clearly, and collaborate with senior technical leadership on architecture and platform evolution.
- • Join a mission-driven company building secure, end-to-end operational infrastructure for private credit transactions, serving top industry players with bank-grade security and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
- • Help shape how PactFi delivers and builds in an AI-native world, defining systems and teams that will scale over the next several years.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience
- • 3+ years of leadership experience, including managing managers
- • Proven track record scaling engineering organizations from Series A through growth stages
- • Experience building and leading high-performing teams, not just inheriting them
- • Practical understanding of AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate and operationalize tools that measurably improve productivity
- • Strong technical foundation with ability to engage in architectural discussions
