- • As Director of Engineering at Energage, you will lead senior software engineering teams to deliver impactful SaaS HRTech products aligned with company objectives through effective personnel management, Agile/Lean practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading small teams of senior technical staff, driving the evolution of the engineering organization toward AI-assisted, small-team models, collaborating on roadmap creation using empirical feedback, managing the full talent lifecycle to foster a culture of growth and accountability, and working closely with Product, Architecture, Design, QA, and external stakeholders to deliver results with minimal waste.

🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of Engineering experience
- • Experience leading teams in the development of enterprise-class SaaS products
- • Experience with hiring and talent development via formal and informal mentoring and training
- • Experience with the development and utilization of a product-line architecture
- • Experience working with multiple globally distributed teams and helping them implement new architectural decisions
- • Expertise with modern patterns and approaches to software development
- • Experience applying Agile and Lean principles pragmatically
- • Experience with legacy modernization patterns and practices
- • Comfortable creating minimally sufficient documentation, including diagramming when appropriate
- • Capable of working with a variety of stakeholders, multiple teams (on-shore and off-shore), and leading by influence

- • Salary range of $170,000 to $210,000 annually, bonus-eligible
