Director of Engineering, Security

📋 Description

• • As Director of Engineering, Security at Nexxen Group Ltd., you will own the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle of the company’s security program across applications, cloud/infrastructure, identity, data, and SOC operations, leading secure-by-design practices and AI security governance while partnering with executives to deliver measurable risk reduction and compliance at scale.
• • Day to day, you will define a multi-year security strategy and roadmap, chair the Weekly Security Council, lead AI Security and Ethics Boards, drive secure SDLC adoption, oversee SOC operations and incident response, establish SLAs/SLOs for vulnerability remediation, lead build/buy evaluations for security tooling, own target-state security architecture for AWS and Kubernetes environments, standardize identity and network segmentation, embed policy-as-code and supply-chain protections, hire and mentor senior engineers across security domains, and strengthen stakeholder engagement across Engineering, IT, Data, Product, Legal/Compliance, and executive leadership.

• • In this role, you will build a high-performing, globally distributed security organization, scale multi-squad delivery across time zones, foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, gain executive and board-level experience, drive measurable risk reduction and compliance outcomes, optimize security tooling ROI and vendor consolidation, and advance AI governance for AI-powered products and internal tools.
