📋 Description

• As Director of Technical Program Management at Olix USA Inc., you will own and scale end-to-end technical program execution across hardware, software, optics, and manufacturing, driving critical programs from R&D through to on-time mass production of the Optical Tensor Processing Unit (OTPU)—a breakthrough technology addressing the global AI infrastructure gap by delivering unprecedented performance and energy efficiency.
• You will design and implement the program management structure that enables Olix to transition from research-led R&D to full-scale manufacturing and customer deployment, partnering with engineering, product, and operations leadership to align strategy, prioritize resources, and ensure flawless execution across interdependent, high-stakes programs.
• Day to day, you will define and drive program management strategy, build and mentor a high-performing team of Technical Program Managers, and foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and operational excellence while partnering with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and resourcing.
• You will own the delivery of complex, multi-team, multi-phase technical programs from inception through production, ensuring alignment with company-level objectives and driving Olix’s core values of velocity and simplicity by removing complexity, unblocking teams, and accelerating execution.
• You will establish scalable frameworks and processes that support rapid growth without sacrificing speed, develop detailed program plans and critical paths, lead cross-functional program reviews for transparency and accountability, identify risks early with long-range mitigation strategies, and provide frequent executive-level reporting to enable rapid, informed decision-making.
• You will join a mission-driven team building the next paradigm in AI hardware—the OTPU—positioned to be the most important technological advancement of the next decade, where your leadership will directly impact the company’s ability to ship breakthrough products at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering highly complex, cross-functional engineering programs at scale
• 10+ years of experience across hardware engineering and program management, including leadership roles in hardware, semiconductor, systems engineering, or AI-driven product environments
• Experience building and leading TPM teams in high-growth, fast-moving technology companies
• Deep understanding of engineering processes across hardware, software, and embedded systems
• Demonstrated ability to drive velocity, optimize processes, and reduce organizational friction without compromising quality
• Expert project and program management skills with strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing at all levels, including executives
