- • As Director of Partnerships at Jerry Technologies Inc., you will own the end-to-end partnerships motion for Jerry's new product lines including home, motorcycle, and other physical assets, building the pipeline, structuring deals, and ensuring partner success to accelerate growth across all offerings.
- • Day to day, you will build and run the partnerships pipeline from initial outreach through signed agreement and onboarding, lead independent conversations with insurance carriers and partners to qualify fit and structure value propositions, design creative deal structures for complex partners, own partner success post-close by coordinating with internal teams, and contribute to vertical strategy based on ground-level partner insights.
- • Jerry Technologies Inc. is a lean, flat organization that scaled to 5M+ customers, became profitable in early 2024, and is expanding beyond car insurance into home, motorcycle, and adjacent product lines, relying on complex partnerships with large, slow-moving organizations that require sharp judgment and persistence.
- • In this role, you will learn to navigate ambiguous partnership landscapes, develop innovative deal structures for new markets, influence cross-functional strategy with product, engineering, data science, legal, finance, and executive teams, and directly impact Jerry’s ability to serve customers better across its growing suite of asset management products.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategy consulting with a track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- • Experience building 0-to-1: launching a new partnership category, entering a new market, or building a BD function without inheriting a working model
- • Background combining at least two of: consulting or structured problem-solving, BD or sales execution, early-stage startup operating experience
- • Demonstrated ability to engage senior external stakeholders and navigate large partner organizations independently
- • Strong written and verbal communication: ability to present complex deal structures simply and credibly to executive audiences
