  • • WEX Inc. is seeking a visionary Director of Product Marketing to spearhead the strategic positioning, launch, and scaling of its North America Mobility and OTR (Over-the-Road) product portfolio. This pivotal role is designed to transform and elevate the Product Marketing function, ensuring that WEX's innovative solutions in fuel, Electric Vehicle (EV), and telematics translate directly into measurable revenue growth and market leadership.
  • • As a strategic leader, you will be instrumental in shifting the product development and launch paradigm from a reactive, feature-centric approach to a market-informed, revenue-driving strategy. Your primary objective will be to ensure that every product launch contributes significantly to revenue, moving beyond mere "shelfware" to become a catalyst for business success.
  • • You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end product marketing strategy for the Mobility and OTR segments. This includes defining compelling positioning, identifying target customer segments, and crafting robust go-to-market plans that resonate across diverse markets, from small owner-operators to large fleet enterprises.
  • • A key focus will be on driving tangible business outcomes. You will establish clear metrics and accountability loops to track and improve pipeline creation, enhance win rates, accelerate product adoption, and bolster customer retention. This involves conducting rigorous post-launch performance reviews to ensure continuous optimization and revenue impact.
  • • You will act as the primary "voice of the market" within the organization, influencing the product roadmap and investment decisions. This requires establishing structured validation processes that leverage deep customer insights, usage data, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic choices and ensure alignment with revenue objectives.
  • • Your influence will extend to pricing, packaging, and portfolio trade-offs, ensuring these decisions are strategically aligned with the overall revenue goals and market opportunities.
  • • Elevating sales enablement will be a critical responsibility. You will partner closely with Sales leadership to design and implement stage-specific enablement programs that demonstrably improve deal velocity and close rates. The aim is to transition from producing generic sales collateral to developing outcome-driven sales motions that equip sellers with differentiated narratives tailored to specific market segments.
  • • You will be tasked with establishing a scalable and efficient Product Marketing Management (PMM) operating model. This includes defining frameworks for launch tiering, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure focus on the highest-impact initiatives. Clear engagement models with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience (CX) teams will be crucial for seamless collaboration and execution.
  • • Building and developing a high-performing PMM team is central to this role. You will foster a culture of accountability, insight-driven decision-making, and ownership, while coaching team members to enhance their business acumen, executive presence, and cross-functional influence.
  • • This role demands a leader who can operate with enterprise scope, driving strategic initiatives while also being adept at diving into the details to ensure disciplined execution. You will leverage modern tools, including AI, to enhance PMM velocity and generate deeper market insights.
  • • The Director will play a crucial role in identifying untapped market opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them, ensuring WEX remains at the forefront of innovation in the evolving mobility and OTR landscape, including the growing EV sector.
  • • By fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, you will ensure that product marketing efforts are tightly integrated with broader marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and product development cycles, creating a unified and powerful market presence for WEX's offerings.
