📋 Description

• • As an Engineering Co-op at CLEAResult, you will contribute directly to the company’s mission of advancing a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future by supporting real-world energy efficiency projects that reduce carbon footprints and promote clean energy adoption across communities.
• • You will gain hands-on experience in a purpose-driven consulting environment where your technical work supports measurable environmental impact, all while being part of a people-first culture that values trust, accountability, transparency, and equal opportunity for growth regardless of background.
• • Calculate energy savings for energy-efficient projects using standardized methodologies and tools, ensuring accuracy in quantifying the environmental and financial benefits of lighting, HVAC, and other efficiency upgrades.
• • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to review and validate project submissions for local energy efficiency lighting programs, verifying compliance with program requirements and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• • Support the development and refinement of company-wide engineering best practices by documenting processes, identifying gaps, and contributing to standardized workflows that improve consistency and quality across project teams.
• • Assist in the development and maintenance of engineering tools using MS Excel and other software, including building calculators, automating repetitive calculations, and improving data integrity for reporting and analysis.
• • Prepare draft technical reports such as measurement and verification (M&V) plans and billing analysis results, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and utility partners.
• • Update and maintain project databases and calculation tools to ensure all active energy efficiency initiatives reflect the most current federal, state, and provincial energy codes and standards.
• • Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to learn from senior engineers, ask questions, and contribute ideas that enhance team efficiency and innovation.
