- • As an Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity at Webflow, you will lead a remote-first team focused on enhancing engineer effectiveness through improvements to developer experience, CI/CD, build systems, internal tooling, and observability.
- • You will set technical direction through hands-on contributions, conduct technical due diligence on tooling and architecture, and evolve team workflows by integrating AI at the core of development processes.
- • You will use DORA and SPACE metrics to identify bottlenecks, make data-informed decisions, and ensure the team is properly staffed and continuously developing.
- • You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering partners to align on goals, foster team growth, and drive outcomes that improve velocity, quality, and craft across the organization.
- • Webflow is building an AI-native Digital Experience Platform with a mission to bring development superpowers to everyone, operating as a remote-first company grounded in trust, transparency, and creativity.
- • The Developer Productivity team owns end-to-end developer experience, enabling engineers to move faster and with greater confidence by optimizing feedback loops and platform systems.
- • This role requires leading from deep technical craft, coaching engineers through complex problems, and partnering cross-functionally to build systems that deliver measurable impact.
- • You will be expected to redesign team workflows with AI at the center, mentor others in adopting AI-augmented practices, and advance the use of agentic AI in developer tooling.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/BA degree or equivalent relevant experience
- • 2+ years in a leadership role and 5+ years as a technical individual contributor
- • Extensive experience with software development best practices, system design, and building full-stack web applications
- • Hands-on experience with monorepo management and strong opinions on its evolution
- • Familiarity with agentic AI systems and LLMs, including how to integrate them into developer workflows
- • Proven ability to attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent
- • Strong empathy and advocacy for improving developer experience
- • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomous work, and a proactive mindset toward learning emerging technologies
