📋 Description

• As an Engineering Manager, Fulfillment at Stitch Fix, you will lead a team of engineers in revolutionizing fulfillment systems that power the company’s personal styling service, directly impacting how customers receive their personalized clothing selections.
• You will manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, define project priorities, partner with product, operations, and algorithms teams, ensure system reliability and scalability, drive modernization initiatives, act as a key stakeholder contact, hire and develop diverse talent, facilitate technical discussions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stitch Fix’s engineering team comprises experienced professionals who build modern software using TDD, continuous delivery, DevOps, and service-oriented architecture, with a focus on high-value, sustainable solutions and strong cross-functional trust.
• You will grow your leadership and technical expertise in fulfillment systems, scale real-time solutions, refine development processes, and lead distributed teams across time zones while contributing to innovative retail-tech solutions that prioritize equity and sustainability.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with warehouse management systems, order management systems, transportation management systems, distribution center software, or similar solutions
• 3+ years of experience building and scaling real-time solutions, including 1-2+ years managing high-performing engineering teams
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-focused solutions aligned with business objectives
• Extensive hands-on experience with widely used programming languages such as Golang, Java, or similar
• Passion for mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth
